Gun Grabbers

"When you disarm the people, you commence to offend them and show that you distrust them either through cowardice or lack of confidence, and both of these opinions generate hatred."- Niccolo  Machiavelli

The so called "liberals" are still trying to subvert your second amendment rights, and they're in the same camp with some of the worst tyrants in human history.

Germany established gun control in 1938 and from 1939 to 1945, 13 million Jews and others who were unable to defend themselves were rounded up and exterminated.
Josef Stalin, the sole leader of the Soviet Union from 1924 to 1953, said:
“If the opposition disarms, well and good. If it refuses to disarm, we shall disarm it ourselves.”
In 1929, the Soviet Union established gun control. From 1929 to 1953, about 20 million dissidents, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.
Mao Tze Tung, communist dictator of China said:
“War can only be abolished through war, and in order to get rid of the gun it is necessary to take up the gun.”
China established gun control in 1935. From 1948 to 1952, 20 million political dissidents, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.
Idi Amin, president of Uganda from 1971 to 1979, said:
“I do not want to be controlled by any superpower. I myself consider myself the most powerful figure in the world, and that is why I do not let any superpower control me.”

Uganda established gun control in 1970. From 1971 to 1979, 300,000 Christians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.
Pol Pot, who created in Cambodia one of the 20th century’s most brutal and radical regimes, was responsible for killing one million of his own ‘educated,’ yet unarmed citizens.

Two Legs Bad, Four Legs Good............Four Legs Bad, Two Legs Good

What happens when you put the pigs in charge?  You're about to find out.  Yes, the greedy little piggies can't get enough of your money, and now they can't get enough of your personal information.  There are those who say, "I don't have anything to hide, so I don't mind my own government using my tax dollars to spy on me."  My answer to that silly statement:  I don't share my personal life with every Tom Dick and Harry for a reason.  I choose what I share and with who, and that's part of being free.

"They  who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve  neither liberty nor safety."-Benjamin Franklin

We created our government to protect us from people or countries that want to violate our rights.  Now it seems the government we pay so much to support with our taxes now sees law abiding citizens as a threat, unworthy of privacy.  The pigs are at the trough, and they'll keep eating until we stop feeding them.

Letter

Dear Barack Obama and/or his puppeteer(s):

I would greatly appreciate if you could cease your attack on the freedom of the press, freedom of speech, freedom of religion, the right to bear arms, the protection against unreasonable search and seizure, and please stop usurping powers reserved for the states and people.  As a matter of fact, if you could just stop doing everything you're doing, that would really help this wonderful country survive your reign.

Sincerely,

United States Citizen who loves this country and the freedoms so many fought and died for

The Change You Hoped For

So, is this the change you hoped for?  It certainly isn't the change you were promised.  You were promised a transparent administration, what you got was a secretive one.  You were promised an administration that respected civil liberties, you've got one that stomps all over the constitution and your rights in the name of "preventing terrorism" which they can't seem to stop, ever.

You were even fed a bunch of promises that were impossible.  For example, the ObamaCare that was supposed to lower costs for everyone while insuring people who currently didn't have insurance.  That's not possible.  Insurance is basically risk sharing, so when you allow people with preexisting conditions to join a risk pool, the cost will go up for everyone, that's how it works.  You were also promised you could keep your current insurance if you liked it.  Well, if you're insurance isn't good enough by government standards, you will be forced to buy additional insurance or change plans.  Also, let's not forget that special groups were exempted from ObamaCare:  Muslims, Amish, and of course, Congress (the geniuses who voted for this without reading it).

I'm no expert, but it seems to me the Obama administration has lied, lied, and lied some more.  They've deceived and betrayed the 'American People at every turn.  Using the IRS against their political opponents, leaving brave soldiers and an ambassador to die in Benghazi, and attacking the press when it's obvious the only crimes committed are by their own employees leaking sensitive information to the press.

I have a reading assignment for all federal employees:  Read The Constitution of the United States of America.  It's a document of pure genius that made this country incredibly powerful until the dickheads in charge started circumventing it and blatantly violating it.  It'd be nice if the Supreme Court justices could take a few minutes to read through it, and realize that ObamaCare is a violation of the Constitution's 10th Amendment.  They must have some serious dirt on John Roberts to get him to BS us on that "ObamaCare is a tax, so it's constitutional" garbage he laid on us.

How long can this great nation endure the corruption, oppression and downright evil befalling us?  Hopefully long enough for us to have leaders who care more about everyone's rights, than their own quest for power.  Let's hope we come to our senses and start electing qualified leaders before Orwell's 1984 becomes reality.  So far all 1984 got wrong was the year it was set in.

Misguided Marriage Debate

Most people seem to want a debate on legalizing gay marriage, while I would rather argue that none of this is important.  Here's why:

Marriage is a religious institution.  Religion invented it, religious figures perform the ceremony, and religions view it as a way to stabilize their "flock."  Somehow, the government, which is supposed to follow the 1st amendment:  "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof..." created a federal tax code discriminates against people based on whether they're married and even how many living offspring they produce.  That is a law that respects an establishment of religion by offering different tax statuses based on participation in a religious institution.

The marriage debate is a moral issue, but not the moral issue being focused on.  I personally don't give a warm fart what people do in the privacy of their own homes, and I don't think the government should either.  The moral issue I see at stake here is equality under the law.  Not equality for homosexuals, but equality for people whether they're married or not, or whether they've popped out a baby or two.

The IRS is mostly unnecessary.  Our "progressive" income tax is also unfair, and punishes success and hard work.  I would prefer that the federal government abolish the income tax altogether, and adopt a national sales tax.

Our current system reminds me of Animal Farm.  All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others.

The Twisted Logic of the Left

"Anyone that owns a gun wants to kill someone."

That's a quote from a conversation I had with a liberal a few months back.  Somehow him and his girlfriend turned the conversation into an interrogation.  They kept asking how I felt on hot button issues like abortion, gun control, gay marriage, taxation, and war.

Now, anyone who reads this blog knows I'm no liberal, but my libertarian streak throws them off every time.  I have a coworker who loves to talk politics, and he knows how I stand on many issues, but he nearly shat himself when I told him that I'm an agnostic.  That really threw him off.

Unlike most people I've met, I don't fall into any category I suppose.  I look at each issue independently, and decide my personal opinions based on cold logic and facts.  Liberals can't seem to argue any of their positions this way, because their strategy has always been to manipulate opinions through emotion.

Don't get me wrong, I believe the average liberal has their heart in the right place.  Unfortunately, the road to hell is paved with good intentions.

Plausible Deniability

Unless you've been living in a cave with your ears plugged and your eyes sewn shut, you've probably noticed the government has been caught practicing more tyranny than usual.  The corruption level has always been high, but now that the press has discovered they're subject to oppression, they've decided to actually report on it.  It's about damn time!

I've not posted on this blog in quite a while.  Unfortunately, I don't really have a lot of spare time to bitch about the government these days, I'm too busy working so the government can take 20% of my income and give it to failing solar companies.

Let's start with Benghazi, the scandal that just won't go away.  Hillary really screwed herself on this one.  It's going to be hard to become president when you're acting like such a cold uncaring bitch when it comes to four Americans dying at our embassy in Libya.   If there is a hell, I'm sure Hillary's eternal soul will have the devil explain that it does matter why these attacks on our embassy occurred.

Meanwhile, our dear leader President "I didn't knowbama" is letting every one of his little political soldiers to take the blame.  It's clear that they're going to have to dump Obama's favorite disciple, Eric Holder.  Maybe we should start electing adults instead of mental midgets like Obama and his cronies.

The most idiotic defense of the administration came from our favorite wicked witch of the west, Nancy Pelosi.  She tried to compare Obama's ignorance on the IRS scandal (which I'm sure he not only knew about, but conceived) to Speaker of the House Boehner not knowing about the oppression happening in the district adjacent to the one he represents.  For some reason I feel like I have to explain the obvious on this one.  Barack Hussein Obama is President, making him the head of the executive branch of our government.  The Internal Revenue Service is a part of that executive branch.  John Boehner (who I'm not a fan of personally) is part of the legislative branch, and has no responsibility to keep tabs on the IRS (until the scandal of course).

The IRS has been targeting conservative groups for extra scrutiny, and even Christian charities (I assume it's because of their position on gay marriage).  This makes my argument of abolishing much of the IRS stronger than ever.

When you have a complex tax code like ours, we're going to have bureaucrats picking winners and losers.  This endangers all of us of losing our rights.  People were intimidated for having an opinion about their government, or even for having religious beliefs.  I guess these dickheads don't like the 1st amendment.

Their disrespect of the 1st amendment is completed by their attacks on AP and Fox News.  I'm not an expert, but I'm pretty sure that reporting the news isn't a crime.  If someone leaked government secrets or endangered national security, it was a government official, not a reporter.  If this was about catching the person responsible for the leak, there wouldn't be any need to try to intimidate the press.  Here's how I'd investigate and find the leak, and it's a lot simpler and actually respects the constitution.  First, every single administration employee that had knowledge of the information leaked to the press would be asked to take a polygraph.  Anyone who exercised their right to refuse the polygraph would be investigated further.  See how I've already narrowed the list of suspects without intimidating the press?

ENOUGH BITCHING ABOUT THE PROBLEM, WHAT'S THE SOLUTION?

I personally think the TEA Parties are on the right track, but they're still putting too much trust in the republican party.  The republicans have failed to prove themselves worthy time and again, and voting for the lesser of two evils is still evil.  It's time for the Libertarians to take the power our federal government holds, and return it to the states and the people.  They are currently the only political party that believes in the freedom so many brave men and women fought and died for.  It's time to elect a party that will have fiscal responsibility, respect our freedoms, and won't punish the makers to take care of the takers.

So what's your solution?  I created this blog not only to get my opinions out there, but to hear the opinions of others.  I will post any comment now matter how much I disagree with it, because that's how much I believe in free speech.  Comments are moderated only to prevent spammers from defiling my corner of the world wide web.  I want to hear from you, especially since you had enough attention span to read this far down.
