Birther Legislation takes the movement out of the fringe

If Obama has nothing to hide, I suppose he'll have no concerns about his eligibility in 2012.

  1. The irony, of course, is that the Obama COLB which birthers keep attacking would be more than sufficient to meet the language of any of these proposed requirements.

  2. John C, I think you're mistaken. COLBs like the one on Obama's websites were issued to foreign born children in 1961. His documents have to actually prove something, which the COLB doesn't. I look at my BC, and then I look at the COLB online, and it's obvious a lot of information is missing, as well as signatures.

Why hide this information? Why let someone run for president without proving their eligibility? I couldn't get a driver's license with a COLB, and before anyone starts crying about Hawaii accepting COLBs as legit birth documents, remember that policy started AFTER the birther controversy had been raging for months. What a coincidence!
